Happy Wednesday! Just in: great books. Biographies, history, mysticism, Babysitter's Club, history, a reprint of the 1902 Sears Catalog, true crime and much more.
The last series of photos is for a book called "The People's Home Library". Published by RC Barnum in 1920. This book is something else. Part medical book, part cookbook and part veterinary. You'll find out how to treat the chicken pox, wrap a bandage, make popcorn soup, remove a variety of stains, build a chicken coop and treat a lame horse. And this is only for starters. We love old books. They have so much character!
